laura haughey
Laura is a film and theatre director, choreographer, movement director, performer and workshop leader.

She trained and toured in the UK and in Europe as a dancer and physical theatre performer for 10 years, taking time out to train as a physiotherapist. Since qualifying and completing a further year of anatomy training, Laura has combined her science and performance background to inform all her future work with the actor’s body.

As a theatre director, Laura has created shows for Manchester Youth Theatre, Bolton Octagon Theatre, Full Body and the Voice and Edge Hill University to name a few. Her work has been performed in numerous venues across the UK including the Library Theatre, Manchester, Lawrence Batley Theatre, Huddersfield and The Rose Theatre, Ormskirk.

As a film director, Laura has led acting for camera workshops for Leeds Young People's Film Festival and has made the documentaries, 'Out of Bounds' and 'Children's Voices'.

Laura has lectured at the University of Glamorgan, Edge Hill University, the University of Huddersfield and has led workshops at the University of Kent. Her lecturing work concentrates on the actor’s body and psycho-physical training.

Over the last 10 years, Laura has specialized in physical ensemble theatre, and working with integrated casts of physically disabled, able-bodied, Deaf, hearing and learning disabled young people and adults.

Laura has completed an MA at Huddersfield University in Physical Ensemble Theatre, and is currently working on a Phd, where her research interests are inclusive arts, and the integration of neuroscience and psychophysical actor training.

Andy is a musician, singer/songwriter, producer, performer and workshop leader.

He plays with 2 bands, Victors, and Albert Ross and the Otters. He has toured and gigged prolifically around Great Britain, playing at major festivals and venues including Leeds Festival and at the Cavern, Liverpool.

Andy has over 10 years experience working with young people and adults with special needs. He has led workshops and residencies all over the UK. He has worked with many different organizations including Interplay Theatre, Full Body and the Voice, MIND, and 1 Voice.

Andy sings and plays guitar, keyboards, drums, percussion and bass. He also produces many different genres of music including dance, pop, rock, folk, electro, and drum and bass. As part of an integrated aesthetic, Andy plays live music to accompany dance, movement and theatre workshops and has composed for dance shows, theatre productions and for film soundtracks. As a Musical Director, Andy has worked on 'That Was Then, This Is Now' for Full Body and the Voice, and 'The House of Bernarda Alba' for Edge Hill University.

Andy is also a trained circus performer, with 6 years of experience performing in the UK and in Europe. He now specializes in creating inclusive and interactive circus performances.

Rob is a musician, composer, producer and project manager.

Rob has been driven by music since as long as he can remember. He grew up playing tenor horn in brass bands, and double bass in his Father’s ceili band.

He volunteered for PHAB for 7 years, working and living alongside young adults with varying disabilities where he helped run music groups, and magazine groups.
Rob spent 3 years as an English Teacher in Japan. He taught in High Schools and led music therapy sessions for the students of a local special needs school. He took the opportunity to immerse himself in the wide variety of traditional music, played in various bands, and collaborated in the writing / performance of the musical accompaniment to an annual play which toured around the region.

Since returning to England he has continued to play in bands and has written / produced music for short films and a Radio 4 play.

Rob plays a wide variety of instruments and produces different styles of music including electronica, ambient, classical, experimental, dance, rock and pop. As part of an integrated aesthetic, Rob plays live music to accompany dance, movement and theatre workshops.
